Cookies, kept to a minimum.

The only cookies and storage we use are the ones the site needs to work. Last updated 22 October 2026.

1. What are cookies

Cookies are small files a website stores on your device. Similar technologies, such as your browser’s local storage, do the same job. We use the term “cookies” for all of them here.

2. What we use

Earlybird only uses storage that is strictly necessary to provide the service you ask for. That doesn’t need your consent under UK rules, so we don’t show a cookie banner.

  • Sign-in. When you sign in, our provider (Google Firebase) stores a token in your browser so you stay signed in as you move between pages.
  • Saving a home before you sign in.If you press Save while signed out, we remember which home it was for the length of your visit so we can save it once you’ve signed in.

3. What we don’t use

We don’t currently use advertising cookies, social media trackers or analytics that follow you across sites. If that changes we’ll update this page and ask for your consent first.

4. Third-party content

Maps are drawn using tiles from OpenFreeMap and OpenStreetMap data. Your browser contacts that service to load the map, which means it can see your IP address, in the same way any website you visit can. We host our fonts ourselves.

5. Controlling storage

You can clear or block cookies and site data in your browser settings. If you block the storage we use for signing in, you won’t be able to stay signed in.

6. Questions

See our privacy policy for how we handle personal data, or email [privacy@your-domain].
